A VPN client can enable you to bypass region-related restrictions on the Internet and it can also protect your identity, since it gives you a new IP address. An excellent example is bVPN, which is capable of redirecting your Internet traffic through various virtual private networks. The best part is that it takes a single click to do so.

A free trial is available, which can be used without any kind of functionality restrictions. The application is compatible with all popular Windows versions and it provides full support for both 32 and 64-bit variants. It comes in a small package and it can be installed in under a minute.

All you have to do is click a button, on bVPN's compact user interface and the application will redirect your connection through a random VPN immediately. Additionally, you can choose a specific VPN from a drop-down menu, on the same interface. It is also possible to enable SSH protection, just by clicking a check box.

Advanced users, who know a thing or two about how the Internet works, can enable a XML feed, use a WMS settings file or use VPN only over SSH and define a specific port for the SSH tunnel. These adjustments can be made in the application's general settings menu, where all options are presented in a clear manner.

If you wish to protect your privacy or access contents that are restricted in your country, then bVPN is exactly what you need.

Pros

It takes a single click to connect to a VPN. The application lets you choose from numerous VPNs, from around the world. It works fast and it doesn't have a heavy impact on your connection's speed.

Cons

There are no obvious design flaws or functionality gaps to address.
